Hugo and Lili’s English Drop Scones

100g self-raising flour

2tbsp caster sugar

1 egg

150ml milk

1. Mix flour and sugar together. Stir in the egg and add milk to make a batter.

2. Cook the mixture in batches. Drop spoonfuls onto a greased, hot pan.

3. When the bubbles rise to the surface of the mix, turn over and continue cooking for about 1 minute.

                4. Serve warm with butter and jam.
