Persuasive writing- advertisements The children watched the now famous Marks and Spencer TV food adverts to understand how to make a few sentences really persuasive. They then wrote scripts for their own TV adverts, ranging from ‘beans on toast’ to a ‘Shrek’ video. Quite a lot of editing went on before their scripts were ready to read and then they had to practise using the cameras. They had great fun filming and performing their adverts. Watch them to see if you would be persuaded to buy!
