French Trip
Ten pupils in years 3 and 4 have just returned from a visit to our partner school in Limoges, France. They had a wonderful time with their pen-friends at École de Meilhards and are now looking forward to completing a joint book of traditional English and French recipes.
Whilst in France pupils worked together to produce a piece of art work for the French school’s dining room and they also baked 5 different French cakes together. Pictures will be on our website shortly!

School Meals

We shall be in week 2 of the school menu next week.
Menus are available from the office or on-line at the Staffordshire County Council website. (Primary Choice Menu)

Haiti Appeal

We raised a total of £220.00 with our “hats for Haiti” appeal.
Thank you to all who took part and contributed but a very special “thank you” to Emma Cleall in year 3/4 who raised £30.00 by working really hard colouring and selling velvet pictures. Well done Emma, we are very proud of you!

Thank you

We are very grateful to those parents who have started out a little earlier in the morning to ensure that their children are not late for school. There has been a significant decrease in the number of late marks on children’s records.
If your child is still arriving late for school please may we remind you that school begins at 08.50 a.m. and all late arrivals have to be recorded and reported to the Education Welfare Officer.

Half Term Club
During half-term (15-19 Feb) there will be a sports club at school each day. Forms are available from the office.

Music Magpie
The P.T.A. will be collecting unwanted DVDs and CDs on Friday 19th March to raise funds towards the library.
Leaflets will be sent out soon but please ask family and friends to have a sort out too!
Further details available from Gail on
01543 433469. Thank you.
