Cerebra If your child has a special need or disability, you may wish to attend the Staffordshire Umbrella Network meeting on Wednesday 3rd March from 10.00 a.m.—1.00 p.m. To book a free place, please ring the Parent Partnership Service on 01785 356921 or e-mail spps@staffordshire.gov.uk School Meals—Special Menu £2.00 per day To celebrate the winter Olympics there will be a different menu on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of the week after half-term:- Monday 22nd Feb: - Hot dog with oven chips and baked beans or Pizza with oven chips and baked beans or Tuna wrap with celery, apple & sultana salad. Tuesday 23rd Feb:- Cottage pie, roast & creamed potatoes, cabbage or Cheese & potato pie with baked beans or Cheese & egg ploughmans Wednesday 24th February:- Digger pie, cabbage and carrots or BBQ sausage, mash, sweetcorn & peas or Savoury oat slice with herb bread & salad bar. Multi-cultural Week We are holding a multi-cultural week from 5th—9th July and will have lots of fun events with each day set aside for one of the five continents. If you have any skills or know of any contacts for our activities, we would love to hear from you. Activities will be very varied and may include sport, cooking, dancing, art, music, games etc. Any other ideas will be very welcome! Help with transport is desperately needed—please let us know if you can assist and which days you are available. Y5 and Y6: Please remember that we will be away at Laches Wood the first week back after half-term! Book Fair and World Book Day On World Book Day, 4th March, we will be doing lots of fun activities, details to follow . Children may dress up as their favourite character. Book Fair: Thur 25th Feb– Wed 3rd March details to follow. Grandparent Thank you Nursery and Reception classes welcomed grandparents for a visit day on Wednesday. The day was a great success and we would like to thank you all for your support!Missing Football kits—Please could you check at home to see if you have a kit. Thank you.
