Sickness Virus

Please may I ask you to keep children at home if they have been sick or had diarrhoea.  Medical advice recommends 48 hours at home for the current sickness virus that is in circulation and I would ask you to follow this advice.  Illness spreads very quickly around school so please do not risk infecting others.

Thank you.

SCHOOL MEALS

We have a new menu for school meals.  Please call at the school office if you would like a copy. We will be in Week 3 of the new menu next week.

Dropping off and collecting children from outside school

The situation on the road outside school is becoming very dangerous.  Just prior to Christmas and since the start of term there have been incidents of:-

·                Drivers on mobile phones.
·
Parents dropping off children into the middle of the road while queuing in traffic at the crossing patrol
·                Parking on the zig zag lines and on the entrance to the dirt track
·
Stopping momentarily on the zig zag lines to drop off children
·
Encouraging children to cross the road without using the crossing patrol

The police have been informed of the seriousness of the situation and have been asked to become involved.

It is the responsibility of those dropping off and collecting children from school to do so with consideration for all.  The safety of your own children and the other pupils at school is at stake.

I would also like to ask those dropping  off children at Jungle Club before school to refrain from using the staff  car park from 8.30 onwards.

Football Cards

I should be grateful if children no longer bring football cards into school.
