BELIEVE WE CAN ACHIEVE BOOKS

At the last parents’ evening, your child’s teacher will have discussed a piece of their writing with you.  This type of assessment will be done half-termly in their “Believe we can Achieve “ book and will come home for you to have a look at.  This will help you to have regular information about how your child is doing with their writing and also what we can work on together to help them improve further.

The books will be coming home to you around half-term and we would like to invite you to  a meeting so that we can explain what we are doing more fully.

Two meeting times are available at either 4.30 or 6.30 p.m. on 20th May in Mrs Richardson’s classroom.

I should be grateful if you could return the attached slip to indicate if you will be attending. Please note, this meeting is not for pupils.

Message from the Road Safety Unit

Now that the clocks have “sprung forward” why not try walking to school at least one day a week.

If you have to travel by car to school don’t forget to park away from School entrances, not on the zig zag markings and please make sure that ALL children exit the car onto the pavement and not into the road.
