Book Fair

 

We are holding a book fair in the school library on the following dates:-

 

Thursday 19 Nov 3.30-4.30 p.m.

Friday 20 Nov 3.30-4.00 p.m.

Monday 23 Nov 3.30-4.30 p.m.

Wednesday 25th Nov 3.30-4.30 p.m.

 

We hope you will be able to come and browse the wonderful selection of books—they make very useful Christmas presents!

 

CHILDREN IN NEED DAY

We are holding a pyjama/non-uniform day to raise money for Children in Need on Friday 20th November.  This is a very worthy children’s charity and we are fundraising in the following ways:-

£1.00 per child to wear your pyjamas or non-uniform

Cake sale – 10p per cake

Colouring, dot-to-dot, wordsearch activities – 5p each

Donations of cakes would be greatly appreciated, please!

**Children will need to bring sensible outdoor shoes and a coat for break and lunch times.**

WFEG   Climate Change Vigil

December 5th in Bell Car Park from 6pm

To demonstrate support for the UN climate summit WFEG are organising a candlelit vigil.

There will be mulled wine, roast chestnuts, mince pies and music to keep everyone warm and entertained.

People of all ages are welcome.

Please bring a candle, lantern or torch!

 

Choir News

 

We are very proud of our choir who sang at the St Giles Hospice Christmas Fair last Saturday.

Cook’s Corner

Christmas is nearly here and to get into the festive mood your school meals service are providing a luxury Christmas Fayre menu at the normal school meal price—as a big thank you to all our young customers for their loyal custom over the last year:-
