There are an increasing number of cases of nits in school which causes distress to the children involved and whose who become infected. Nits can be difficult to completely remove but the school nurse is available to offer advice to anyone struggling to treat their child. If anyone would like advice, we can contact the school nurse in confidence for you. It is considered to be a serious matter if a child is continually infected because they are not being treated. Not only will this cause other children to become regularly infected, it affects the well-being of the child in question. In these instances we are expected to refer to other agencies outside school. Parent Drop—ins Your child’s work will be available for you to come and look at in their classroom next Wednesday 26th May from 3.30 –6.00 p.m. Drinks Please could we ask you to ensure that your child has a drink for break and lunchtime and that they have a water bottle for the classroom. (We are optimistic and hope that the warmer weather will continue!) Thank you.
