Police Message—Parking
Our local Police Community Support Officer, Jas Gill, has noticed people parking in the designated bus stop area outside school and also on the zigzag lines.
He is very concerned about the dangers posed to our children if such obstructions make it difficult for them to cross the road safely.
Please avoid parking penalties by parking considerately and please keep the safety of our children, parents, staff and crossing patrol in mind at all times.

Favourite Recipes
A group of pupils will be visiting our partner school in France on 31st January. We are working on a joint project, exchanging British and French recipes, by compiling a book.
If you have a favourite traditional British recipe you would like to share with us, please send it to the school office by Thursday 28th January.
Please could we ask that the recipes are fairly simple, so that we can help French children to make them!

DOGS
Please note that for health and safety reasons dogs are not allowed into any part of the school grounds.
Many children are frightened of dogs, so please try to leave your dog at home when you collect children.

Parent Drop-ins
We hope you will be able to call into school to look at your child’s work and, if you wish, have an informal chat with their teacher:-

Please note that Mrs Jones in Year 6 is not available on the above date so for class 6J the drop-in is on Tuesday 26th Jan from 4.30—6.00 p.m.
Time Checks

We are sending a letter home about the number of children arriving late for the start of school.
Some parents have raised concerns about the timing of the school bell but we would like to clarify that the school timer is set to Greenwich Mean Time. Please would you check watches and clocks at home to ensure they are accurate.
