Easter Egg Hunt

Each year group will be taking part in an Easter egg hunt at various times this week. Children will receive 4 mini eggs each to bring home to eat.

Please notify us in writing if you do not want your child to take part.

School Meals

After Easter the cost of a school meal will be £2.10 per day.

We are in week 4 of the menu this week.

SPORT RELIEF DAY

UPDATE

Thank you for your support for Sport Relief. We raised a total of £208.50 in school.

Netball Congratulations!

Our netball team came third in the Lichfield tournament and we would like to say “well done” to all the girls who took part and showed great team spirit!

Easter Holiday

Please remember that we are in school on Thursday 1st April. The holidays start on Good Friday (2nd April). We are back in school on Thursday 15th April.

Parent Support Service

Who Are Parent Support Workers?

The parent support worker (PSW) role is to support parent, child and family.

They provide support, advice and information in order for parents to get the best from school and local services.

They help with any worries parents/carers have in relation to their child’s education, behaviour or attendance, and provide support on how best to deal with it.

Parent Support Workers aim to support and help in the following ways:

∆ Provide direct and confidential support for parents/carers of school age children, acting as a link between parent and school

∆ Offer support with child’s behaviour

∆ Provide information about school matters

∆ Give opportunities to meet with other parents/carers through regular events

∆ ‘Drop in’ sessions

∆ Provide families with learning opportunities

∆ Offer a home visit

∆ Provide access to parenting programmes

∆ Find other services to help

∆ Offer help when changing classes or schools

Parent Support Workers aim to achieve: -

Help build confidence in dealing with difficult parenting issues and behaviours

Support better achievements and attendance at school.

Referral Forms are available from the school office.
