Shape poetry 

After reading a variety of different shape poems, the children worked hard to write some of their own. First they had to choose the words carefully and then came the challenge of how to present them effectively. Some chose to type them on the computer themselves, others wrote them up by hand and some chose to use a very helpful website we found. Here is a selection of the poems which were inspired by some of the daffodils growing in our school garden. I think you’ll agree that they have really thought carefully about their word choices and the presentation.
