Year 6 pupils had the opportunity to visit Lichfield Council Offices in order to experience the wheels of democracy in motion.  In groups they had to best decide how to spend the Council’s budget in their given area.  This meant  discussing ideas, calculating budgets and deciding which area was of the most importance.  Year 6 were very mature and held a good debate – is there a future MP in the making?
