Whittington Christmas 2006 What a busy time Christmas was this year as always!! The infants put on a super performance of "The lost kiss" with their very own Christmas twist!! Brilliant costumes, songs and the children really enjoyed it nearly as much as all the adults who were watching!! Well done to all the year 2/1 staff who worked very hard to make it a great show!! Reception and Nursery once again delighted everyone with their own version of the nativity story!! Well done to all foundation staff for their hard work, it is always a delight to watch the "liitle ones". (If any parents have pictures of the shows could you email/bring them into school, so we can put them on the website!) The juniors based their Christmas story of the angels going to tell the shepherds the "good news". Well done to all the junior staff! A great show!! As always all performances ended with Whittington's version of Slade!!! The whole school also attended church for a lovely Christmas service, which had all the school involved with readings, singing and a brilliant music by our very own musicians!! The choir went to St Giles Hospice to sing for the patients and had a super time, enjoyed by all. The Christmas parties were great!! Santa even made an appearance!! A great Christmas, thank you to all the children and the staff!!! |
