The school has a homework policy which aims to ensure that tasks and activities set are appropriate to the range and abilities of our pupils. By Year 6 we aim to prepare children for the transition to High School. Children are encouraged to read at home and parents are asked to record comments. Your support in sharing books with your child and listening to them read is vital to their reading development. Other homework such as spellings, writing and numeracy homework (focussing on rapid mental recall) are also set by class teachers, as may other work connected with creative learning themes.
