We have a very active PTA who has raised lots of money through various events and activities. Such as:
£2,000 to buy a new sound system for the hall
£1,000 in computer equipment
£10,000 to buy the adventure Play area
£2,000 towards the school's newguide reading scheme
£400 for wet play toys
The PTA also fund the Year 6 leavers disco every year, as well as the infant Christmas parties and provide funds towards school trips.
The PTA also provide refreshments at school events such as the Harvest Festival, Year 6 leavers play and the Christmas plays. Some of the fund raising activities they have organised are the Summer Fair, the Christmas Fair, Web Ivory catalogue, Christmas Calendars, school tea towels, Christmas puddings and many many more.

P.T.A Update FEBRUARY 2010

They're under starter's orders !

Whittington PTA are holding their annual Race Night this year on 12 March at 7.30pm at the School. Tickets are £5.00 and include all the entertainement and a buffet supper from Gourmet Chef To Go. For tickets please phone Cass on 433015

If you are a local business and would like to support the event but can't be there you could sponsor a race for £30. Email cass@MyMaths.co.uk for more details.

The next Bag2School collection is planned for Monday, May 10, so please start sorting out your old clothes, shoes, soft toys, and household items. For more information contact Emma on 433133

We are currently trying to raise funds to replenish and decorate the school library. Particularly we are looking for businesses to donate prizes for our Christmas Raffle. We’re always trying to identify new businesses that may be able to support us. So if you are able to help in any way, please get in contact with us.
