World Book Day 2007

Our World Book Day was on Thursday 1st March! Our theme this year was "Bedtime Stories". We asked children and Staff to come to school in their "bed clothes"! Also to bring their teddy and their favourite bedtime story book. Through out the morning children were read bedtime stories by teachers from all over the school, not just their own teacher!! We also be asked for a 50p per child or £1 per family which will go towards new stock for our own school library. For that 50p children got a free book (from the old stock) and had the fun of coming to school in their PJ's!!! There was also a book sale in the hall where all the books were only 10p! Bargain! We raised £158 for our library thankyou to all the children and staff who were all good sports and came into school in their pj's!!

Our school were on the front page of the Lichfield Mercury and also in the Express and Star!!
