We had a special peace assembly where we sang the World Peace song. Below are some of the ideas that the children came up with during our "peace" lessons this week.... World Peace Day If we can stop fighting for one day why can’t we stop forever? We should stop fighting as there are no real winners in war! World Peace Day World peace day is so that we can try and help wars stop so that people don’t go out and die in wars, and consider those who died in fighting for peace. The World Peace Day Today is a very special day, called World Peace Day. To let everybody know we want peace in the world. It’s horrible to think that some people are dieing just because people are careless by bombing airplanes and buildings. So let’s stop fighting and get along. World Peace Day We are here today to celebrate world peace day. World peace day is all about no wars in the world and everywhere full of peace and harmony. It’s a day were people stop fighting, shake hands and get along. World peace day is also full of laughter, joy and it is full of happiness. We’ve only got one life let’s make the most of it by helping each other, caring for each other and not killing each other. So please let us get along for one day or if we get along, maybe make it a life time promise to bring peace into the world and make it a better place to live in. |
