Diwali Day Wednesday 1st November 2006

Mrs Williams very kindly came in to talk to all the children in year 2/1 about Diwali - the festival of light. She brought in some special sweet food that the children were allowed to taste and some rangoli designs that the children could decorate. The children enjoyed dressing up in the traditional Hindu costumes and making Diwali cards. A big thank you to Mrs Williams fo making this day possible, all the children learnt a lot and had a super time!
