Ourselves

We have investigated hearing and how sounds are made, during this half term in science. It has been very cross curricular, so we have made musical instruments!! The children designed the instruments at home and brought in the materials needed to make them. They really came up with some great designs and had alot of fun! It was very noisy when they all played them at once!!

We also focused on light and dark by investigating which materials were best for being seen at night. We borrowed Mr Kendrick's reflective jacket and discussed why we could be seen in it at night. We also talked about people who might need reflective clothing and how important it is that they stay safe.
