Egyptian Experience

Year 4/3 had a great term of History all to do with ancient and modern Egypt. This included lots of great activities inlcuding the 'Trip to Egypt". The children had to bring a packed bag and were soon off on a reality holiday to Egypt, which included going through passport control, the flight to Egypt and meeting their holiday reps. Once in Egypt they experienced bartering at a local bazaar, experiencing camel riding and seeing the sights.

We also had an Egyptian workshop where all the children had the opportunity to have their faces or hands painted. Then they were able to take part in an Egyptian drama and experience Egyptian dancing.
