Year 4/3 Christmas Stockings and Sacks!

Our Design and Technology topic for Christmas was to design and make our own Christmas stockings and Sacks! We had great fun evaluating shop brought stockings and thinking of our own designs. We all had a great selection of materials to use and had great fun making them, including sewing!! (Which we found is harder than it looks!!) After we had made them we thought about advice we would give to others who wanted to make them, some of the suggestions were "don't make your design too complicated!" and " take your time, concentrate while you are sewing".

Great advice!!!
