We promote independance and encourage your children to take responsibility for themselves.

These include:

• Packing own bag for school
• Arriving at school and classes on time
• Looking after own possesions
• Bringing money, letters etc to class teacher
• Looking after reading books
• Leaving school in time for the bus
• Completing and handing in homework on time
• Always having homework diaries

Year 6 children are also given opportunities for greater responsibility in and around the school. For example, being lead members on the School Council, being Play Buddies, helping organise events such as Sports Day, being ambassadors for school in inter-school sports teams.
