'Believe, we can achieve!'

During our topic of 'People in Action' the children used their own cardboard models to help them understand how to make proportions more realistic and then sketched each other in action poses. They used the work of Degas to inspire their work in pastels (you might want to take a photo of display in corridor) and their final piece of art was a 3D figure made from Modroc. They began with 3 pipecleaners, padded out with foil and then strips of ModRoc. It was really messy but great fun and we were all really pleased with the results as you can see!
