Mathematics
Children learn a wide range of mathematical concepts through practical "play" activities.
Please encourage your child to count regularly and talk about sizes, weight and shape of things. Look at numbers and shapes around you such as door numbers, car number plates, TV remote controls and phones.
Reception children learn mental mathematical skills through our Rapid Recall targets.
