Our Sports Council are ambassadors for Sport and Health and their role is to champion sport and promote healthy living.

They are volunteers from year 6 who meet with Mrs Howfield and carry out a variety of jobs and responsibilities such as collecting pupil voice, organising intra-school competitions, reporting to parents and managing equipment.

Autumn Term:

The Rudolph Run

Sports council worked alongside Mrs Howfield to organise a whole school event to raise money for St. Giles Hospice. 

Spring Term:

Spring term was a quick term where as well as carrying out their weekly responsibilities, the Sports Council began ground work ready for the busy and eventful Summer term that is to come!

Summer Term:

As well as having weekly responsibilities, the Sports Council are currently developing a Whittington Mile Challenge which will be launched in Summer 2024, as well as helping to plan our Sports and Wellbeing Week!
