OPAL Goes from Strength to Strength

OPAL continues to be a huge success across the school, and it has been fantastic to see the children becoming even more creative and adventurous with their play.

The pupils are constantly coming up with new ideas and finding different ways to use the playground spaces and equipment. From imaginative role play to team games and obstacle courses, there is always something exciting happening at playtime!

The den-building area continues to be one of the most popular spots. Children have loved working together to build dens, hideouts and shelters, showing brilliant teamwork and creativity along the way. Every day seems to bring a brand new creation!

Another big favourite is definitely the big slide, which is always full of smiles, laughter and excitement. The children are absolutely loving the chance to climb, slide and enjoy some energetic outdoor fun with their friends.

Through our OPAL assemblies the pupils are able to give their ideas on what needs to be added or changed. We also have discussions on how to make their play 'safe enough'. 

It has been wonderful to see how confident and inventive the pupils are becoming through OPAL. The playground is buzzing with activity, imagination and happy faces, and it is clear that OPAL is continuing to go from strength to strength.
