Whittington Primary School’s Vision for PE:
At Whittington our vision is to develop a physically educated individual who:

- Has mastered the necessary movement skills to participate confidently in many different forms of physical activity.
- Values physical fitness
- Understands that both are intimately related to health and wellbeing.
2020-2021 Sports Funding- Intentions:
- Review the PE Curriculum and continue to improve the teaching and learning across the school to ensure good progress is made by all children and they develop a love of learning and PE (3)*
- To put together a sustainable programme for health and wellbeing and bank of resources for all staff (teaching/ teaching assistants and lunchtime staff) to use to help improve the health and wellbeing of our pupils (1)* (2)* (4)* (5)*
- Improvements to the outside area in order to help development of fundamental skills and promote improved activity levels (1) (2)
- Improvements to curriculum planning and the use of the outdoor areas to reduce the amount of sedentary behaviour and increase the activity levels of pupils (1) (2
