Previously children have swam in Year 2, however following disappointing results and taking on board advice from various sources we have now moved swimming into lower key stage 2. 

At present the year 4 children go swimming on a Wednesday afternoon. 

All children must wear a swimming hat and remove all jewellery before entering the pool. Only children who have brought a letter from their parents taking full responsibility, can wear goggles. Boys must wear trunks and NOT swimming shorts. Girls should wear suitable one piece swimming costumes. If children have verucas they MUST wear a veruca sock which can be purchased from any leisure centre/swimming pool.

Swimming hats can be purchased from the swimming baths.
